A button does nothing or the page looks broken — what do I do?
Quick steps when a dashboard button doesn't respond or a page looks incomplete or outdated: hard refresh, private window, browser extensions, and what the 403, 419 and 500 pages mean.

If you click a button and nothing happens, a page appears unstyled or incomplete, or a change you made doesn't show — try these steps in order. Most of these problems come from the browser itself and take a minute to fix.
1. Do a hard refresh
Browsers sometimes keep an old copy of a page. A hard refresh loads the latest version:
- Windows: Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R.
- Mac: Cmd + Shift + R.
- Phone: close the tab and open it again, or pull the page down to refresh.
2. Try a private window or another browser
Open the dashboard in a private (Incognito) window and sign in. If the button works there, the cause is an extension installed in your browser or old data it has stored. Use an up-to-date version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.
3. Turn off extensions that can break pages
- Ad blockers: can block parts of the page or the security check on the login page.
- Automatic translation: if your browser translates the page by itself, turn translation off — it scrambles buttons and forms. To use the dashboard in another language, switch it with the language button (see The dashboard or store shows the wrong language).
- Dark-mode extensions: can make text unreadable. The dashboard has its own moon button at the top to switch between light and dark.
4. Understand the error page you see
| Page | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Session expired · 419" | Your session closed after a period of inactivity (about two hours), so the save didn't go through. | Reload, sign in, then redo the change and save. |
| "Access denied · 403" | Your account (as a team member) lacks permission for this page or action. | Ask the store owner for the permission. If an upgrade page appears instead, the feature isn't in your plan. |
| "Too many requests · 429" | You clicked or tried too many times in a short time. | Wait a minute and try again. |
| "Server error · 500" | Something went wrong on our side; it was logged automatically. | Try again in a moment, and contact us if it repeats. |
5. Causes in your account itself
- Store setup isn't finished: every save returns «يجب إكمال خطوات إعداد المتجر أولاً» (complete the store setup steps first). Finish the setup first.
- Subscription is locked: every page sends you to "Subscription status" and saves don't go through. See My dashboard says my subscription expired.
- A menu item is missing: pages for features that aren't active in your plan, or that aren't in your permissions as a team member, are hidden from the side menu rather than shown locked.
Tip: if you changed your store's look and can't see it, open the store itself from the "My Store" button and do a hard refresh there too.
