Why do my report numbers differ from my orders list or dashboard?

If a figure on «التقارير» ("Reports") doesn't match «الطلبات» ("Orders") or your dashboard, there's usually nothing wrong: each screen counts slightly differently. Here are the reasons, most common first.

1. A different period

  • Reports opens on "Last 30 days".
  • The Orders tabs (such as "All Orders" and "Completed") count every order since you opened the store, and aren't affected by search or date filters.
  • On the dashboard, "Revenue Trend" shows months of a whole year, and "Orders by Status" covers all time.

Fix: to compare, use the same period — or pick "This year" in Reports.

2. "Sales" isn't "collected"

  • "Sales" = every order except cancelled ones, paid or not.
  • "collected" and the revenue line in "Sales Trend" = paid orders only.
  • A cash-on-delivery order is marked paid when you move it to shipped or delivered. If you don't update statuses, collected stays low.

3. Returns

Returned orders are included in Sales (only cancelled ones are removed) and don't appear in the "Order Status" chart, so the chart's segments can add up to less than "Total orders".

4. One status, two names

A shipped order is called «خارج للتوصيل» ("Out for Delivery") in the Orders list and Reports, and «قيد الشحن» ("Shipped") on the order page itself. "Completed" in the list is «تم التسليم» on the order page. Same numbers, different names.

5. The "top" lists

  • In Reports, "Top Products" and "Top Customers" count every order in the period, including cancelled ones, and Top Customers there lists registered customers only.
  • On the dashboard, "Top Products" and "Top Customers" exclude cancelled orders and include shoppers without an account, and Top Products refreshes roughly every 15 minutes.

6. Pixel Analytics

Revenue there only counts orders that are both paid and delivered, so it's naturally lower than in Reports.
