Which payment methods can my shoppers use today?
Shoppers can pay cash on delivery, with their store wallet balance, or by card and wallet through Paymob or Kashier once you connect your account. Manual payment is paused by the platform for now.
In this article
Every payment method in your store needs two switches to be on: one held by the platform and one you control in your dashboard. A method only appears on your checkout when both are on and its details (if it needs any) are set up. This article tells you honestly what works today.
What your shoppers can use right now
| Method | Available to shoppers? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| "Cash on Delivery" | Yes | On by default for every new store, no setup needed. |
| "Wallet" (customer store credit) | Yes, if you turn it on | Only for customers registered in your store. The balance comes from refunds you give them. |
| Paymob (cards and wallets) | Yes, once you connect your account | Connect your own Paymob account and turn it on; the money goes to your Paymob account. |
| Kashier (cards, wallets, Apple Pay) | Yes, once you connect your account | Connect your own Kashier account and turn it on. |
| "Manual Payment" (bank transfer, InstaPay, wallets) | Not at the moment | Paused by the platform. |
What does "Not available from the platform" mean?
On the "Available Payment Methods" page, manual payment carries that badge and its switch is locked. It means the platform has paused that method for all stores, not that something is wrong with your details. Paymob and Kashier are available: connect your account and turn them on.
Note: Your own choice is kept as it is. If the platform reopens a method, it comes back in your store automatically without any new setup. We can't promise a date.
How do I turn on Paymob or Kashier?
Connect your account, save your keys and run "Test connection", then turn the method on and it appears on your checkout. See Connecting Paymob and Connecting Kashier.
What shoppers see at checkout
- A "Cash on delivery" card with the line "Pay cash when your order arrives".
- If you enabled the wallet and the shopper is signed in: a "Wallet" card showing their "Available balance".
- If the shopper is a guest: "Sign in to pay using your wallet balance."
- If no method is available at all: "No payment methods available".
Tip: The page won't let you switch everything off: at least one method must stay on. The simplest choice is to always keep Cash on Delivery on.
