I saved my store settings but nothing changed — what should I do?
Common reasons a change doesn't show after saving: a value that wasn't accepted and was ignored, a feature not in your plan, or a setting that doesn't affect the store yet.

You clicked Save, saw Process done successfully., but the change isn't showing? Some fields quietly ignore a value that isn't accepted, without an error, and some settings need a feature in your plan. Go through this list in order.
1. Make sure you actually saved
- After any change you must click Save in the bar that appears at the bottom ("You have unsaved changes"). Switching tabs does not save.
- Open your store with the My Store button and refresh the page.
2. A value wasn't accepted and was ignored
| Field | Accepted format |
|---|---|
| Store phone | A valid number (mobile or landline). If it's invalid, the old number stays. |
| Primary / Secondary color | A code in exactly the form #RRGGBB. |
| Order Number Prefix | English letters only, up to 10. |
| Store Logo | JPG, PNG or WEBP up to 4MB. If the format isn't supported, a message says everything except the image was saved. |
3. The setting needs a feature in your plan
- Multi-language needs the multi-language feature, and Both modes needs the store-modes add-on. If there's a lock and Upgrade next to the option, it won't be saved.
- The store currency is your country's currency and isn't changed from settings.
- Store language: Arabic only and English only need no feature and apply as soon as you save; only Multi-language needs the feature. See store language.
4. The setting doesn't affect checkout yet
Online ordering (Off) and Require login to checkout (Yes) currently don't stop customers from completing an order. See currency and order settings for alternatives.
5. The colour doesn't show even though it saved
Your store follows the Primary color in Store Settings. If your store colour doesn't change, check whether you picked a different Accent color in the theme editor (under Global Design); set it back to your store colour and click Save, and the store follows your Primary color again. Details in How do I change my store colours and logo?
6. You're a staff member, not the owner
If you're signed in with a staff account, you may not have permission to save some parts of the settings. Ask the store owner to make the change or to give you the permission.
