Why does a customer see “This email already has an account” at checkout?
An email or mobile that already has an account can’t be used to order as a guest; the customer signs in with it or uses another one.

To keep every email and number with its owner, checkout won't let someone order as a guest with an email or mobile that already has an account on Elmatajer.
What does the customer see?
When they leave the email or mobile field, it turns red with:
- “This email already has an account — sign in with it, or use another email.”
- “This mobile number already has an account — sign in with it, or use another number.”
They can't continue until it's fixed.
What should the customer do?
- If it's their account: sign in to your store and order as usual — their own details are allowed.
- If not: use another email or number.
FAQ

- They ticked “create an account” at checkout? The account is created and the order goes through; next time they sign in.
- Who does this cover? Any live account on the platform: merchants, staff, drivers and any store's customers.
