How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Upgrades activate as soon as payment is confirmed, with credit for your unused days. Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current period and apply at renewal.

You can change your plan at any time from the "Subscription" page. Upgrading to a higher plan takes effect right after payment; downgrading to a lower plan is scheduled for the end of your current period so you don't lose what you've paid for.

Upgrading to a higher plan

  1. Open "Subscription". Click "Upgrade to …" on your subscription card, or scroll to "All Available Plans" and click "Upgrade to …" on the plan you want.
  2. Choose "Monthly" or "Annual" before clicking.
  3. On "Complete your subscription" you'll see "Upgrade credit" — the value of the days left on your current plan, deducted from the "Total" automatically.
  4. Choose a payment method and finish. Details: How do I pay by InstaPay?

After confirmation: the new plan is active immediately and a fresh full period starts on the activation day (30 days for monthly, 365 for annual). Until payment is confirmed you stay on your current plan.

Downgrading to a lower plan

  1. On "Subscription", click "Downgrade to …" on the lower plan.
  2. The "Confirm plan downgrade" dialog explains that the change applies at the end of your current period and that you may lose features the lower plan doesn't include.
  3. Click "Confirm downgrade". A message confirms the downgrade is scheduled for the end of the current billing period.

When does it apply? Your current plan's features keep working until the last day of your period. When you renew (yourself or through auto-renewal), the renewal is for the lower plan at its price.

Downgrade rules

  • You can only schedule a downgrade while your subscription is active. In the grace period you'll see "Your subscription is in its grace period. Renew your current plan first; you can then schedule a downgrade."
  • Each plan allows a number of team members. If you have more staff than the lower plan allows when you renew, the downgrade won't apply and your current plan renews instead. Review or remove extra staff under "Staff" before renewal.

Tip: before downgrading, compare the ✓ and ✗ marks on the plan cards so you know which features will stop.
