How do I sign in with Google or link it to my account?

You can sign up or sign in with one click using Google, or link Google to your existing account from "Profile" → "Google account".

Signing in with Google saves you from typing your password every time. You can use it when the Google button appears on the sign-in page under "or continue with".

Creating a new account with Google

  1. On the sign-up or sign-in page, click the Google button and pick your account.
  2. If that email isn't registered yet, a new account is created and your email is confirmed without a code.
  3. The "Create your password" page opens. Choose a password (at least 8 characters), confirm it and click "Create password & continue". You can then sign in with Google or with your email and password.
  4. Then you continue setting up your store.

Linking Google to your existing account

  1. Open "Profile".
  2. On the "Google account" card, click "Connect Google" and choose your account.
  3. You'll see a success message (in Arabic: «تم ربط حسابك بـ Google بنجاح.»), a confirmation email is sent, and the card shows "Connected to Google".

Another way: if you click the Google button on the sign-in page with an email that already has a password account, you'll see «وجدنا حسابًا بهذا البريد. سجّل الدخول بكلمة المرور مرة واحدة وسيتم ربط Google تلقائيًا.» (we found an account with this email — sign in with your password once and Google will be linked automatically). Sign in with your password once and the link happens by itself.

Disconnecting Google

On the same card, click "Disconnect" and confirm. You'll see «تم فصل حساب Google.» (Google disconnected) and can keep signing in with your email and password.

Messages you might see

  • «لم يؤكد Google ملكية البريد الإلكتروني لهذا الحساب…» (Google has not confirmed this email) — that Google account's email isn't verified by Google, so it can't be used to sign up or sign in. Register with your email and password, then link Google from "Profile".
  • «حساب Google هذا مرتبط بحساب آخر بالفعل.» — this Google account is already linked to another account on the platform. Use a different Google account.
  • «يوجد حساب بهذا البريد لا يمكن الدخول إليه عبر Google. استخدم تسجيل الدخول العادي.» — the email is used by a different type of account (such as a shopper account). Sign in with email and password.
  • «اضبط كلمة مرور أولًا قبل فصل Google، حتى تظل قادرًا على الدخول.» — you need a password before disconnecting. Use Forgot password to set one.
  • «تسجيل الدخول عبر Google غير مُفعّل حاليًا.» — Google sign-in is temporarily off; sign in with email and password.

Note: if you don't see the Google button on the sign-in page or the "Google account" card in your profile, Google sign-in isn't enabled on the platform right now.
