How do I turn on local delivery and add delivery areas and fees?

In "Shipping" → "Local Delivery", switch on "Enable local delivery" and add the areas you deliver to, each with its own fee. You can pause an area without deleting it.

Local delivery is what lets shoppers pick their area at checkout and pay that area's delivery fee. You need to do two things: switch local delivery on, and add at least one area.

Before you start

You need to be the store owner, or a team member with permission to manage shipping.

Step 1: switch on local delivery

  1. In the side menu, open "Shipping" → "Local Delivery".
  2. In the "Delivery settings" card, switch on "Enable local delivery".
  3. Click "Save settings". The badge next to the card title changes from "Off" to "On".

As the page explains: "When on, customers pick their area at checkout and that area's delivery fee is added to the order total."

Step 2: add an area

  1. Click "Add area" at the top of the page.
  2. In "Area name", type the area, for example Maadi. As you type, city suggestions appear that you can pick from.
  3. In "Fee", enter the delivery fee in EGP. You can enter 0 if delivery to that area is free.
  4. Click "Add". The area is added and is "Available to customers" straight away.

Editing, pausing or deleting an area

  • Edit: click the "Edit" icon on the area's row, change the name or fee in the "Edit Area" window and click "Save".
  • Pause: flip the switch in the "Status" column. The area becomes "Temporarily paused" and is hidden from shoppers; its fee is kept for when you turn it back on.
  • Delete: click the "Delete" icon and confirm with "Yes, delete".

At the top of the page you'll see your area counts: "Total Areas", "Active" and "Disabled".

Notices you may see

  • If local delivery is on but no area is available, a warning says shoppers won't see an area choice and no delivery fee is charged. Add an area or enable one.
  • If you have areas but local delivery is off, a notice says they won't appear at checkout until you turn it on.

Tip: To encourage bigger orders, set "Min. order amount for free shipping" in the same card. See free shipping.
