ELMATAJER

How do I offer free shipping above a certain order amount?

In "Delivery settings", enter a "Min. order amount for free shipping". Any order whose products reach it pays no delivery fee, and the cart and some themes' announcement bars advertise it.

Free shipping above a set amount is an easy way to get shoppers to add a bit more to their order. On Elmatajer you set the amount once and delivery becomes free automatically for any order that reaches it.

Steps

  1. Open "Shipping" → "Local Delivery".
  2. In the "Delivery settings" card, enter the amount in "Min. order amount for free shipping", for example 500.
  3. Click "Save settings".

To turn free shipping off, clear the field (or enter 0) and save. The field itself says "Empty = no free shipping".

How it's calculated

As the page explains: "Orders whose items total (before discount) reaches this amount pay no delivery fee."

  • It compares the products total before any coupon discount.
  • If the order reaches the amount, the delivery fee is zero whatever area the shopper picked.
  • The minimum works on its own and isn't tied to the "Enable local delivery" switch. But if local delivery is off, delivery is already free.

Where shoppers see it

  • In the cart: a progress bar saying "Spend … more for free shipping", and once they reach it: "You unlocked free shipping!".
  • In the announcement bar at the top of the store: in some themes, if you haven't written your own announcement text, a line such as "Free shipping on orders over 500 EGP" appears. If you've written your own text, yours is shown instead.
  • At checkout: the "Delivery" line in the summary shows zero.

Note: The separate "Cart Progress Bar" add-on has its own goal and messages set on its own page; it doesn't use this amount.
