How do I connect a carrier like Bosta or Mylerz?
Connect your Bosta, Mylerz, ShipBlu or Aramex account under Providers, send orders to the carrier from the order page or automatically, and the shipment status updates by itself.
In this article
Yes. You can connect your own Bosta, Mylerz, ShipBlu or Aramex account. Then you send any order to the carrier from the order page: the shipment is created with them right away, the tracking number is saved, and its status updates by itself. The carrier bills your account with them directly.
Before you start: you need an active merchant account with the carrier. Egypt Post can't be connected — it has no electronic integration.
How do I connect a carrier?
- In the menu open "Shipping & delivery" → "Providers".
- Pick the carrier and click "Where do I get these?" for that carrier's exact steps.
- Enter your carrier account details and keep the account type on "Live".
- Click "Save". We test the details with the carrier first; wrong ones show a message and are not saved.
What each carrier needs
- Bosta: an API key from business.bosta.co → Settings → API Integration.
- Mylerz: an API username and password from your Mylerz account manager, plus the pickup warehouse name (optional).
- ShipBlu: an API key from the ShipBlu dashboard → Settings → API.
- Aramex: username, password, account number, PIN, entity (usually CAI) and country code (EG) from your Aramex account manager.
How do I send an order to the carrier?
- Open the order, and in the shipping part click "Choose delivery method" and pick the carrier.
- Click "Create shipment". The order is sent to the carrier and the tracking number shows on the shipment page.
To send every new order by itself, turn on "Send automatically" on the carrier's page under "Providers". A cash-on-delivery order is sent as soon as it is placed; a paid order once the payment is confirmed.
Important: the carrier finds the customer from the delivery area name and the address. Name your delivery areas after known governorates or districts, such as Giza, Nasr City or Mansoura.
How does the shipment status update?
- Bosta: sends every update instantly once you add the "Update URL" in your Bosta dashboard (steps on the connect page). Without it, we ask Bosta about open shipments every few hours.
- Mylerz, ShipBlu and Aramex: we ask the carrier about every open shipment hourly — nothing to set up.
- Any time, click "Refresh from carrier" on the shipment page.
FAQ
Can I cancel a shipment after sending it?
With Bosta and Mylerz: yes, from the shipment page before the courier picks it up. With ShipBlu and Aramex: cancel from the carrier's dashboard or customer service, and the status updates here afterwards.
The shipment was refused — what now?
You get a message with the reason, for example the customer's mobile is not an Egyptian number or their area is unknown to the carrier. Fix it on the order and send again from the shipment page.
Is there a test mode?
Bosta and ShipBlu have a "Test" mode, but it needs a separate test key from the carrier. Mylerz and Aramex work on the live account only.
Does the delivery fee the customer pays come from the carrier?
No. The customer pays the delivery area fee you set under "Local Delivery"; the carrier charges you its own price. Details in How is the delivery price calculated?
