How do I change or remove my custom domain?
On My Domains: use Edit to switch domains or the delete icon to remove it. Either way your store goes back to its platform link immediately until a new domain is live.

Each store has one custom domain. So once you've added one, to use a different domain you change or delete the current one in My Domains.
Switching to a different domain
- Open My Domains.
- Click Change next to your domain.
- Type the new domain in the domain field and click Update Domain.
- Repeat the connection steps for the new domain at your domain company (the nameservers or the record shown on the page).
Important: as soon as you save a new domain, the old one is released immediately and your store goes back to its platform link (your-store-name.elmatajer.com) until the new domain becomes Active.
If you save the same domain again while it's already connected, you'll see «الدومين مربوط بالفعل — لا يوجد تغيير.» (already connected — nothing changed). If it was still pending, saving restarts the automatic checks from scratch — handy after you fix your DNS settings.
Deleting the domain
- On My Domains, click the delete (trash) icon next to the domain.
- You'll be asked "Permanently delete this domain?". If the domain was live, the message adds that your store switches back to its platform address immediately.
- Click "Yes, delete".
After deleting, you can add a new domain straight away.
After deleting: restore your settings at your domain company
- If you used the nameserver method: set your domain company's or host's original nameservers back, so the domain and email are served from there. See Domain email and nameservers.
- If you added a CNAME or A record: delete it or point it to the new place.
