What is Elmatajer and how does my store work?
A quick overview of the platform: how your store is created, where it lives online, and what each section of your dashboard is for.
Elmatajer lets you open a complete online store without a developer. You create an account, set up your store in a few minutes, add your products, and your customers order online while you manage everything from one dashboard.
How your store is created
- Create a merchant account with your email and mobile number (or with Google, if the button is shown).
- Set up the store in one of two ways: AI-assisted or manual. This is where you choose your store name, link, logo and colours.
- Your store goes online at its own address in the form
your-store.elmatajer.com. This link is free and yours from day one; you can connect a domain you own later. - A 14-day free trial starts. When it ends you need to subscribe to a plan to keep the store running.
What is ready from day one
- A free store theme (design) that you can change or recolour later.
- Cash on Delivery («الدفع عند الاستلام») switched on automatically.
- Automatic numbering for your orders.
About payments: today your customers can pay cash on delivery or from their wallet balance in your store (that balance only comes from refunds you give them). You can connect a Paymob or Kashier account in the dashboard, but those methods do not appear at checkout while the platform has them switched off.
Dashboard sections
The side menu is grouped into sections. The main ones are:
| Section | What you do there |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Your store at a glance: revenue, orders by status, recent orders and top products. |
| Catalog | Products and Categories: add and organise what you sell. |
| Sales | Orders and Customers: follow orders and update their status. |
| Analytics & Reports | Sales reports. |
| Shipping | Local Delivery: delivery areas and their fees. |
| Themes & Add-ons | Marketplace to change your store design. |
| Domains | My Domains: connect your own domain. |
| Payments & Billing | Payment Gateways and Subscription (your plan and invoices). |
| Store | Store Settings: name, logo, contact details, language and colours. |
| Account | Profile: your personal details and password. |
Tip: some menu items only appear when your plan includes that feature (for example coupons or team management). If you can't find something, it usually needs a higher plan.
Where to start
If you've just signed up, start with setting up your store, then follow the first-sale checklist.
