How do I set up my store after signing up? (AI or manual)
The two ways to set up your store — the AI Studio assistant and the 4-step manual wizard — and what each step asks for.
Once your account is confirmed, the platform asks you to set up your store before you can use the dashboard. You'll see a screen titled How do you want to build your store? with two options. Both end in the same place: a live store with its own link.
Note: until setup is finished, any dashboard page sends you back to the setup screen. Your answers are saved as you go, so if you close the page you continue where you left off.
Option 1: AI-Assisted Setup
Click Start with the assistant. The AI Studio screen opens with a chat with the Store Builder Assistant. It asks one question at a time, most answers are buttons you tap, and a live preview of your store sits beside the chat.
The questions come in this order:
- What will you sell? — your business category.
- Which market are you targeting? — country, then city.
- What would you like to call your store?
- Store link: pick one of the suggestions or type your own.
- Store description: the assistant writes one; you can ask for Generate another or write your own.
- Store phone number.
- Does the store have its own email?
- Logo and store icon (you can tap Skip).
- Store colours, store language and display mode (dark or light).
- A summary of everything. Tap Edit another to change anything, or Activate store.
Option 2: Manual Setup
Click Start manual setup. You get a 4-step form with a preview of your store:

| 4. Review & launch | Check everything, with an Edit button for each part, then click Activate store. |
For the logo and icon, use a PNG, JPG or WEBP image up to 5 MB. While you type the URL you'll see whether it is available, already taken or reserved. To start over, the Start new button at the top clears what you entered.
After activation
A welcome screen confirms your store was created, and after a few seconds you're taken to the dashboard. At this point:
- Your store is live at
your-store.elmatajer.com. - Your 14-day free trial has started.
- Cash on Delivery is switched on and a free theme is applied to your store.
With either method, your light or dark choice is saved for your store as you picked it. You can change everything you chose here later from Store Settings. Next step: get your store ready for its first order.
