How do I connect Facebook, TikTok or Google pixels to my store?
Paste your ad platform's pixel ID on the Tracking Pixels page; the platform adds the code to your store and sends view, checkout and purchase events automatically.
In this article
A pixel is a small piece of code from an ad platform (Meta, TikTok, Google…) that tells it who visited your store and who bought, so your ads reach the right people and you can measure results. On Elmatajer you never touch code — you just paste the ID.
Before you start
- Pixels are on every plan, under «التحليلات والتقارير» ("Analytics & Reports") → «بكسلات التتبع» ("Tracking Pixels"). If you are a team member and can't see it, ask the store owner for the permission.
- Have your pixel ID ready from your ad account. Each platform card has a "Where is it?" button that tells you exactly where to find it.
Connect a pixel
- Open "Tracking Pixels" — the page is titled "Tracking Pixels & Analytics".
- Paste the ID into the matching platform card. Its badge changes from "Not set" to "Live".
- Click "Save settings". The code is added to every page of your store automatically.
ID format per platform
| Platform | ID format |
|---|---|
| Facebook (Meta) | 15–16 digits |
A Google Analytics 4 ID starting with G-, or a Google Ads ID starting with AW- | |
| TikTok | The letter C followed by 18 characters |
| Snapchat | A long code shaped like xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx |
| X (Twitter) | 5 letters/digits |
| 6–8 digit partner ID | |
| 13 digits | |
| Instagram ads use your Facebook (Meta) pixel — no separate ID needed. |
Events that are sent
| Event | When |
|---|---|
| PageView | Every page a visitor opens |
| ViewContent | A product page |
| Search | The search results page |
| ViewCart | The cart page |
| InitiateCheckout | The checkout page |
| Purchase | The order confirmation page — once per order, with the order value and products |
Sign-in, sign-up and contact-form events are sent too.
Note: The add-to-cart event (AddToCart) is not sent at the moment, even though the page lists it. Measure your campaigns with ViewCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase.
"Advanced settings (optional)"
- "Meta — Conversions API Token": also sends the purchase event to Meta from our server, for more accurate tracking. It's stored encrypted and never shown again; leave the box empty to keep it, or tick "Remove current token" to delete it.
- "Meta — Test Event Code": for checking events in Meta's Test Events tool before you go live.
- "Google Ads — Conversion Label": only works when the Google ID above starts with
AW-. There's a single Google box, so choose either Analytics or Ads.
Warning: The Farida and ArtWall themes don't load pixels at the moment. If your store uses one of them, events won't reach your ad accounts.
To confirm a pixel works, open your store and use the platform's own checker (for example the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension). To remove a pixel, clear its ID and click "Save settings".
