How do I upload product images and choose the main image?
Allowed formats and sizes for product images, how to choose the main image and reorder images, and how to add a YouTube or Vimeo video.

Images are what sell a product online. In the Product images card you can upload up to 10 images per product. The first image is the main one — it appears on the product card in your store and when someone shares the product link.

The platform automatically converts images to a lightweight format and scales them down to 1280 pixels on the longest side, so there's no need to upload anything larger. Animated GIFs are not accepted.
Uploading images
- On the product page, click Add or drop images here, or drag images from your computer into the box.
- Each image uploads on its own straight away and you see “Image uploaded”. The counter next to the title shows how many of your 10 slots are used.
- To remove an image, click the × on it (“Image deleted”).
Images are saved as soon as they upload, so they're still there if the page is closed and you come back.
Main image and image order
The first image carries the Main badge. To change it, click the star (Make main image) on the image you want, or drag images to reorder them, then click Save changes.
Note: image order is saved on the edit page only. On a new product, the first image you uploaded stays the main image even if you reorder before publishing. To use a different one, publish the product, open it for editing, reorder, and click Save changes.
If you delete all of a product's images, the store shows a placeholder image instead.
Error messages

| “Unsupported format — use JPG, PNG or WEBP” | The file isn't one of those formats. Save it again as JPG or PNG. |
| “File is bigger than 2MB — please resize and retry” | Resize or compress the image with any photo tool or image-compression site. |
| “Reached the maximum” / “the rest exceeded the cap” | The product already has 10 images. Delete one before adding another. |
| “Please select jpg,jpeg,png type of Image file” | This appears for any rejected image, not just the format: the image may be larger than 4000 pixels, or the file may be damaged. Reduce the dimensions and save it again as JPG. |
| “Upload failed — click to retry” | Usually a connection problem. Click the image to try again. |
Product video
In the Product video card, paste a link into Video URL. Only YouTube (including Shorts) and Vimeo links are supported; the video appears on the product page under “Product Video”. You can't upload a video file from your device — upload it to YouTube first and use the link. Each product has one video.
