Can I change my store link?
Yes, from Store URL under Store identity. The old link stops working immediately, so change it carefully and update your links everywhere.
The name in your store link (the part before .elmatajer.com) can be changed at any time. Keep in mind that this changes your store's whole address.
Before you start
Important: after the change, the old link stops opening your store and there is no automatic redirect to the new one. Any old link on social media, in print or in ads will send customers to a page that doesn't exist, and it can also affect how you show up in search results.
If you have a live custom domain, changing this name doesn't affect your domain.
How to change it
- Open Store Settings from the side menu.
- On the "Store identity" tab, go to the "Store URL" field.
- Type the new name using lowercase English letters, digits and hyphens (-) only, with no spaces.
- Click Save on the bar at the bottom.
- Open your store with the new link to confirm it works, then update the link everywhere you've shared it.

- Short and easy to type and to say over the phone.
- Close to your brand name on social media.
- Pick it once and stick with it — every change breaks old links.
