How do I change my store colours and logo?
Your logo and icon live under Store identity, and your main colour under Storefront design or the Accent color in the theme editor — this article explains which one wins.
In this article
Your store's visual identity is made of your logo, your store icon and your main colour. All three show up in whichever theme you use.
Changing the logo and store icon
- In the side menu, open Store Settings.
- Open the "Store identity" tab.
- Under "Store Logo", choose your logo image (up to 4 MB).
- Under "Store Icon", choose the small icon shown in the browser tab.
- Click Save on the bar that appears at the bottom ("You have unsaved changes").
Your store's main colour
In Store Settings → the "Storefront design" tab → the "Brand Colors" card:
- Primary color: the colour of buttons, links and prices on your store. Pick a preset or type a colour code.
- Secondary color: some themes use it for supporting elements.
Colours in the theme editor
In the theme editor, under "Global Design", you'll find:
- "Brand & Accent" → Accent color.
- "Light Mode Colors" and "Dark Mode Colors": each with Background, Surface / cards and Text color.
Which colour shows on the store?
Your store follows the Primary color in Store Settings. The editor's Accent color starts out equal to it, and as long as you leave it that way — even if you click Save in the editor — the store keeps following your Primary color, and any change you make to it in settings shows straight away.
- If you pick a different Accent color in the editor and save, that colour is shown for this theme instead of your Primary color.
- Each theme keeps its own editor colours; if you switch themes, check that theme's Accent color.
Tip: if your store colour doesn't change, check whether you picked a different Accent color in the theme editor (Global Design → "Brand & Accent"). Set it back to your store colour and click Save.
Fonts
There's currently no font picker in the dashboard; each theme uses the fonts that belong to its design.
